Wander Depot is a trading name of Maris Clinic Limited, which is responsible for handling personal information used to operate the store. For privacy enquiries, contact wanderdepot@outlook.com.
Information we handle
When you contact us or buy from us, we may handle your name, contact details, WhatsApp messages, product selections, order history, delivery address, tracking information and payment confirmation. Stripe hosts the payment page and handles card details; please never send full card details over WhatsApp. We may store the contents of your shopping bag on your device using browser local storage.
Why we use it
We use this information to answer enquiries, confirm and fulfil contracts, arrange deliveries, resolve returns or disputes, prevent fraud and keep required accounting records. The legal bases generally include performance of a contract or steps taken at your request, compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in securing and operating the business.
Who receives it
We may share only necessary information with payment providers such as Stripe, communications services such as WhatsApp, shipping and fulfilment partners, and professional advisers where needed. Since goods are sent from China, delivery details may be shared with overseas fulfilment providers; applicable international data protection safeguards must be put in place.
Retention, rights and security
We keep order and transaction records for as long as reasonably necessary for fulfilment, customer service and legal obligations, including applicable tax record-keeping requirements. You may ask to access, correct or erase information, or exercise other applicable UK data protection rights, by emailing us. Some information must be retained where required by law. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Cookies and other services
The shopping bag uses local storage. External services, including Stripe, WhatsApp and Google Fonts, may process technical data under their own notices. We do not use the WhatsApp order information to send marketing messages without a lawful basis.
